About Dave

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page on BoldTrail. I know that I feel more comfortable working with someone if I know something about them, so here's a little about me.... I moved to Loudoun County in 1992 to take a job teaching middle school kids in an Alternative School. That was the beginning of what has turned out to be a wonderful and sometimes difficult career teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools. All of the years that followed have been in the typical Middle School setting...some years at Sterling Middle and the rest at Blue Ridge Middle in Purcellville. 

Three years after moving to Loudoun, I was married and owned a home. The natural progression is... start a family. My wife and I are kind of old school I guess, and we wanted her to be at home with our children if and when we were so blessed.  The problem was, she making much more money as an Assistant Buyer for a large department store than I was making as a teacher. We would not have been able to survive on my salary alone. So, I began a second career to supplement my teachering salary. Each year, my client base grew and the more I learned how to better help people buy and sell homes, the more I loved it !
